Lori – Licensed Veterinary Technician

Lori graduated from Alfred State College in 2009 and joined the Animal Ark staff in 2011. Lori may be small in size, but she is big in energy, heart and a desire to help animals, any size. She has had a love for animals her whole life and grew up working at her grandmother’s horse stable. Her dream is to have her own farm someday, with all kinds of animals, big and small. Lori enthusiastically participates in most continuing education opportunities, developing her care giving skills even further. Most recently she attended Cornell University’s Annual Conference, where the latest techniques in CPR and emergency medicine for technicians were reviewed. Lori is adventurous, loves the outdoors, baking and being with family. Lori shares her love for animals with her husband, and at home they care for their cat “Bandit”, horses “Dixie” and “Markee” and pony “Benny”.

The greatest pleasure of an animal is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will they not scold you, but they will make a fool of themselves too!
